We can improve our hearts by pledging to eat just two seafood-centric meals a week. That’s right bluff city. We’re getting stronger and healthier every day, and we’re starting with seafood. Dishes like salmon, oysters and rainbow trout are all high in heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, and can help us along to a fitter, slimmer way of life.

The 2015 Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend at least two servings of seafood per week to take in adequate amounts of lean protein, omega-3s, vitamins, and minerals. I recognize seafood is a healthy choice for me and my family and one of the leanest proteins with a variety of nutrients.
The Seafood Nutrition Partnership aims to reduce the risks of heart disease, improve baby brain wellness and increase memory for seniors by educating Americans about the health benefits of sustainable seafood and building awareness of seafood’s essential nutritional value.
By pledging to eat at least two servings of seafood each week as recommended by the USDA Dietary Guidelines, I know I will help me and my family improve our health.
